UNICEF Holiday Gifts that Give Back

by Wren on December 22, 2012

Each year I do Christmas shopping I try to find ways of giving back in the process. There are many ways of giving, including what my daughter does every year. Each year she goes into a store and picks out something she wants, but instead of keeping it… she gives it to Toys for Tots. We are a military family and since we live so near the Air Force Base, there are always the Airmen in their dress blues standing guard. She really loves this tradition, and as a family we love to help out those less fortunate. We do not have a lot, but we have a lot to be grateful for.

This year many companies are banding together and purchasing these gifts sends a donation to UNIFEF! So to me this is a great thing. I will throw in some of the website below, but I am mainly going to talk about the Boogie Monster Book Set. It is an adorable book set that will get your kids inspired to dance around. This of course keeps them active and having fun! The set includes the book written by actress Josie Bessett, furry slip-on monster legs, and a CD full of dance tunes. The tunes should get your little Boogie Monster dancing! This is great for kids 3 and up.

I think it is an adorable set and something your kids/grand kids would love to have!

Do not forget to check out these other sites below and look to help out UNICEF this holiday season!
