As I am expecting my second child in the next few months I am constantly on the look out for great products to help me with baby. There are so many out there and it is sometimes hard to pick something that fits for you, so you end up trying them all… or as many as you can.
Recently as I was looking over the internet I stumbled upon the website Tommee Tippee, they have some bottles called Closer to Nature. I was really interested in them as I had not seen any bottles quite like these before and so I had to try them! I got a 5fl oz and a 9fl oz bottle to try. As I do not have my baby here yet I had one of my friends try them out and her baby really took to them. She was breastfeeding and sometimes when she is out the baby will need a bottle. Nipple confusion is something I hear most often about.
The size of these nipples are a close mimic to mother’s own breast. To me that is a huge thing because I do want to try breast feeding with this next baby and I know there will be times I will have to leave the house and I do not want baby going without. These nipples provide the same latch, flex, & stretch as the breast! Another great thing about these nipples is the flow will increase with age so that baby will have the best flow possible for their stage in development.
The bottle is also designed for closeness when feeding and when baby is old enough to hold the bottle themselves it has little groves for baby’s hands! I think it is also just a cute design and they can come in different colors for those who want a little more flair when feeding their little ones.
One of my favorite functions of this bottle is the Anti-Colic Valve. This will allow the baby to feed without the vacuum or nipple collapse some bottles experience, and there is no leak! This valve will help to ensure that the baby does not ingest air which can lead to things such as Colic, gas, and fussiness. It makes me really excited to use these for when my baby arrives!
Worried about BPA & Phthalate? Well you do not have to worry about those with these bottles! They are perfectly safe for baby. I have not found one flaw with these bottles!
