I am an animal lover! I have been since I was a child and love that my children get to grow up with pets. I think it not only teaches responsibility, but empathy. Plus how can you not love someone who is a part of your family? I am always on the lookout for things to pamper my cats, dog, chinchilla, & even fish.
There is this really neat company called Pawalla, and they do just that! Each month they send a box of goodies for your cat or dog. I received my box right after my dogs surgery so held off on the excitement, and then of course we moved so she had to wait even longer. I would catch her sniffing the box and finally when the dust settled we popped that box open! Trixie’s nose was going nonstop, and really put a smile on my face.
The first thing I pulled out was Wagatha’s Little Bites Organic Biscuits. They were the Breakfast flavor with Apples, Bananas & Maple Oats. One neat bit about this is that it is human grade wheat and lactose free. Everything in these biscuits are good for your dog in someway. The Cinnamon is used to treat stomach upset in some herbal medicines, Apples provide vitamins and phytonutrients, Oats provide Beta 1, and that is only parts of the ingredients list. With all that goodness in one biscuit it was time for the taste test, and my dog LOVED them. Now every morning she does a special trick just to get one of these bad boys!
I loved that they had poop bags in the box. Simply for the fact I get so mad seeing other people without them, and the first thing I did when I got my dog from the shelter was buy a little poop bag holder to go on her leash! So I am never without them when we go on a walk. These are perfect to fit in a poop bag holder or even your pocket. You just pull them out and scoop it up and carry on your way.
I simply fell in love, and into the giggles, with Petchup! I thought it an adorable name, and it is meant to do exactly what you assume. It goes on their dog food and adds great supplements to their lifestyles. Things that are great for their skin & coat, give them stronger bones, loaded with antioxidants, and heart health! This product is gluten free, which we all know is best for dogs, and made and sourced in the US. Trixie thought it was great and gets upset if it is not on her food at every meal, I am going to have to watch how spoiled she is becoming on just this one box!
Stella & Chewy’s Carnivore Crunch is an all natural treat that uses farm-raised chickens. To top that off there is no grain, added hormones or antibiotics, artificial preservatives, sugar, salt or coloring! It is a very naturally healthy snack for your dog! You can give them as treats or put them on your dogs food, we chose to just go with a treat and my dog thinks they are great! I have to cut her off before she ruins her dinner.
I love giving my dog a variety in healthy dog foods and when I pulled Lotus Wholesome Chicken & Asparagus Stew along with Lotus Wholesome Turkey Stew I knew I had some winners here! Lotus is formulated to meet AAFCO requirements for all life stages of your dog. These are Grain Free which is very important to me, dogs are not meant to eat grain loaded foods like the majority of dog foods out there. There are so many amazing things in this products including New Zealand green lipped mussel which is used in some of the best joins supplements on the market. Something your active and even older dog can benefit from. Have I also mentioned my dog thought both varieties tasted great? I think she hardly chewed!
The last thing and most exciting thing for Trixie that came out of the Pawalla box was Charming Toys- Farm Balloon Collection- Dudley the Dog! She loved him instantly! We have played fetch with him and she has just carried him around, I even found him hidden behind her bed… She may have seen the cats eying her prize!
Pawalla is a great company and an amazing idea! Who would not love monthly surprises for your fur kids at the door once a month? I ask all of you to try it out and see how they like it!
