My daughter LOVES watching Sprout and everything on it. She still gets on the sprout website and plays their games. I found the channel and the games to be highly educational and taught her a lot of things that prepared her to play with others and learn the basics she would need to start school.
We watched Jim Henson’s Pajanimals Play Date with a friend of mine and her small children. It was adorable to see them so excited to see it and of course have my daughter still like it as well. It makes me proud in the fact that I have choosen to be an active parent in having educational things for my daughter that are not just that, but fun for her. I know if it is not fun, I lack the want to learn.
I think they all became large lovers of Cowbella, Apollo, Sweetpea Sue and Squacky that day! My friend thanked me for introducing her and her children to Pajanimals, it is something she plans to allow her children to continue to watch in the future!
With Pajanimals they encourage children to learn the important social and emotional lessons. That includes sharing with their friends, overcoming shyness, and telling the truth. All important things for not just preschoolers to know and understand, but for older children as well. Each story in this DVD helps to resolve things that could happen in any preschoolers typical day.
- I’m Sorry, Really Sorry

My daughter loves the songs and so did my friends children. You could see they understood each lesson, but it was not brought to them in a boring way. Which is very important with little kids, to keep them entertained and their mind on what is going on. With Pajanimals their faces light up and keep them entertained, I think they watched it nearly 3 times while we were there. Great DVD!
