I love trying out new products and finding things that work good for me. I also am in need of help when it comes to make-up and trying new things. Never really grew up a girlie girl, but as I get older I find myself wanting to be a bit more girlie. I know that I will need this information when my daughters are older so I better start learning now!
Starlooks has this amazing thing called a Starbox, and it comes with full size products and instructions on how to use them each month. For me this is a huge thing! I need the tips and I do need new products. I was upset I could not try this box right away as I had just moved and then went on vacation, but as soon as I got home I dug into the box and tried it all out.
The first thing I pulled out was the Princess Diaries Eye Liner, and I simply loved the color! This can be used for so many things, so your not stuck with this pot eye liner for those few times you want to use the Princess Diaries color as liner. This can be used for lining the top or bottom lid and can also be a saturated creme eye shadow or shadow base, you can also lighten up the corners of your eyes or use them on your eyelashes for a sparking white lash glow! It is a very versatile product and that is one thing I can stand by.
The next thing I removed was the Pink Oasis Lip Gloss. Again this can be used for more then one thing, which I am sure I have mentioned I love products with more then one use! You can put this on top of your lipstick for a fantastic added sparkle or shine, or all on its own! It is beautiful either way.
Next out of the box I pulled out Barbie Fluid Blush. This is a type of product I had never used before, but quickly came to love it. It will saturate your cheeks and leave them with a bright look that is not too overbearing. You can blend it with your fingers or use their 945 of 946 brush which will beautifully buff the blush into the cheeks. It really brings out the shape of your face and is a great color. Have I mentioned I love pink?
The final thing I removed from my starbox was the Tipsy Lip Pencil. I have not used a Lip Pencil since High School when I would do plays and things so it is nearly a forign concept to me on how to use it. This product also can be used in more then one way. You can either fill in the lip and cover it with a lip gloss, which looks wonderful, or you can put it around the lips and fill in with a lipstick and then either cover with a lip gloss or don’t. Each look, looks great and with just small changes can give you any look you are going for!
I found each product to be great quality and I found it very helpful that inside the box they share with you ways to use the products and give you certain looks. This is something I know I will be sharing with my friends who are in need of new products or help in the makeup department, like I am!
