Dinosaur Train: Ride the Holiday Train Review

by Wren on December 1, 2012

In my home we spend a lot of time watching Dinosaur Train. It is something I find educational along with fun. My daughter can tell you about any dinosaur that has ever been on the Dinosaur train, to me that is priceless.

So when I received Dinosaur Train: Ride the Holiday Train I was very excited to get my daughter’s reaction to then put in a proper review for it. her face lite up and she ended up having me read it to her over and over again. There are 45 flaps for this book that truly kept her entertained.

It is about the Pteranodon family heading up to the North Pole for the Winter Solstice. While there they play hockey, build Snow Dinosaurs, and decorate for the Winter Solstice. Each page is brightly colored and has oodles of flaps for your little one to explore.

The book is designed for kids from 2-5, but my 7 year old enjoyed it as well. So do not count out those slightly older kids if they happen to be fans of the show. I also found the price to be reasonable, at $9.99 you cannot go wrong. It certainly kept my daughter enthralled for well more then what that price would bring me.

If you have a little Dinosaur Train fan in your midst, consider getting them this book!

Check out Dinosaur train on their Facebook. You can also follow PBS Kids on Facebook & Twitter!
